Read our full Product Truth Promise →This painting depicts a rural village in Bihar as seen through the Madhubani tradition: houses with thatched roofs, a pond with fish, birds nesting in trees, and women carrying water. The composition is dense — every surface is patterned — but the overall effect is calm and unhurried. Painted on handmade paper with natural pigments and acrylic ink using bamboo nibs. The colour palette stays close to traditional Madhubani tones: warm ochre, deep indigo, lamp black and touches of vermilion. This is a one-of-a-kind original; no prints or reproductions will be made.
